After being a Microsoft Windows enthusiast for years, late in 2014 I acquired a MacBook Air. Over more than one year, struggling occasionally, I learned to use OS X, Apple’s operating system, and many applications. This short book is for experienced Window users who are considering, have acquired, or would like to know more about a Mac and Mac users who are interested in OS X applications that make working on a Mac more efficient and enjoyable. It is based on my experience and is more about what to use than how to use it so it is replete with applications
